Your dog won’t sit, stay, and pose perfectly for a photo session? Good! I love a dog with a strong personality.

I create stunning wow-worthy portraits of hyper, lazy, shy, reactive, fearful, boisterous, and excited dogs. I’ve photographed obedience champions and new puppies that don’t even know their name yet. Whether your pet is trained or untrained, you’ll love the photographs we create together.

Have you been looking at the photos of off-leash dogs posing perfectly on my website and thinking “Oh gosh, my dog would never stay there off leash for a photo”?

Of course they won’t! And neither did the dogs in all of these photos.

I photograph almost all of my clients’ dogs on-leash. Why? Because I want every dog to be safe, it’s important to me to respect leash laws, and it also helps us direct the dog where we’d like them to go.

I remove the leashes from the final photographs during the editing process so no one would ever know they were there.

The Process

1. Connect

Reach out to connect with me and get started. We’ll get to know each other and chat about what you’d like to create. If we’re a good fit, we’ll plan the next steps.

2. Planning Meeting

We’ll meet in person to talk about your style, the colours in your home, and the feelings you want to feel when you experience your printed art every day. I’ll meet your dog to start to build trust with them. We’ll also chat about what to expect at the photo session, how to prepare, and what to wear.

3. Photo Session

We’ll take a 1-2 hour walk in nature, stopping along the way to create stunning portraits with different backgrounds. Expect a fun, relaxed, and stress-free time. No training or off-leash time is required. Most of the dogs I photograph stay on leash during their photo session and I edit them out of the photos afterwards.

4. Viewing and Ordering Appointment

A few days after your session, we’ll get together again to view the best images from your session. I’ll help you narrow it down to your absolute favourites. Together, we’ll design your custom wall art and/or album using to-scale mockups so you can envision exactly how it will look in your home. You’ll finalize your portrait order and submit payment.

5. Art Delivery

You’ll receive your artwork delivered directly to your home for you to enjoy forever.
